Privacy Policy
What this website does with your information — and what it deliberately does not do.
This policy is a template and must be completed before launch. It accurately describes how the current static build behaves, but placeholders (marked in square brackets) still need the real business details, and a qualified professional should review the final wording for the countries you sell in.
Last updated: 2026 · Applies to this website only.
1. Who is responsible for your information
This website is operated by [business or practitioner name to be completed], contactable at hello@example.com. That person or business is the data controller for the purposes of applicable data protection law. Registered address and any registration numbers: [to be completed].
2. What this website currently collects
In its current form this is a static website. It has no server-side application, no database and no user accounts. As a result:
- Nothing you type into a form is transmitted anywhere. The booking, contact, login and registration forms validate your input in the browser and then tell you they have not sent it.
- No payment information is collected at all. There is no checkout on this site.
- Passwords are never stored — not in localStorage, sessionStorage, cookies or anywhere else.
3. Information stored in your own browser
Some features work by saving small amounts of data in your browser's localStorage. This data
stays on your device, is not readable by this website's owner, and disappears if you clear your browser
data:
djk.demo.wallet.v1— your demonstration credits and demo transaction history.djk.demo.readings.v1— readings you chose to save, including the question you typed.djk.demo.daily.v1— the date and card of your daily draw.djk.demo.bookingDraft.v1— a draft of the booking form, so a page refresh does not lose what you had typed. It is removed after a demo submission.
You can remove all of it at any time from your browser settings, or with the "Reset demo wallet" button on the Pricing & Credits page.
4. Cookies and third-party requests
This website sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics or advertising scripts. It does load two external resources, which means your browser contacts those providers directly:
- Google Fonts — supplies the typefaces used on every page. Google receives your IP address and user agent as part of that request. If you prefer to avoid this, the fonts can be self-hosted.
- Your hosting provider — like almost all web hosts, will record standard server logs such as IP address, timestamps and requested pages. Retention for those logs is [to be completed].
Before launch, this section must be updated to describe any analytics, payment provider, email service or booking tool that is actually added.
5. Payments
No payments are processed on this website, and no card or bank details are ever entered here. When a payment provider is connected (for example Razorpay or Stripe, subject to eligibility), that provider will handle payment data under its own privacy policy, and only a payment reference and status would be stored on the server.
6. What will change when accounts and bookings go live
Once the site is connected to a backend, the following would be collected and would need to be described in this policy in detail:
- Account details: name, email address and a securely hashed password.
- Booking details: contact number, preferred date and time, consultation mode and your message.
- Reading history and credit balance, held against your account.
- Technical and security data, such as sign-in timestamps, used to protect accounts.
Lawful basis, retention periods, processors and international transfer arrangements must be documented here at that point.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal information, to object to processing, and to receive your data in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, contact hello@example.com. Applicable law and the relevant supervisory authority for this business: [to be completed].
8. Children
This website and its readings are intended for adults. They are not directed at children, and accounts (when introduced) will require users to be 18 or over.
9. Data retention
Data held in your browser remains until you delete it. Retention periods for any future server-side data are [to be completed].
10. Changes to this policy
This policy will be updated whenever the website's data practices change, and the "last updated" date at the top will change with it.
